The Racine County Communications Center is responsible for communications between the public and the agency. Dispatchers perform a wide variety of tasks. The Communications Center handles the telephone requests for Law Enforcement and Fire/Rescue services for all of Racine County, except the City of Burlington.
The mission of the Communication Center is as follows:
We the staff of the Racine County Communications Center are the first of the first responders. We serve as the critical link between the people of Racine County and all emergency and non-emergency agencies. It is our duty to promote, preserve and protect the public safety and security of all people in Racine County. We recognize that service is our one and only product.
Constant telephone calls for service, information requests, enormous volumes of paperwork, and tremendous demands for instant service shows how the Dispatchers play an extremely important and crucial part in Law Enforcement Services.
